Crowbar – SIMILE
Crowbar is a web scraping environment based on the use of a server-side headless mozilla-based browser.
It is used as a research prototype to investigate how to enable the running of Piggy Bank javascript scrapers from the command line and thus automating web sites scraping.

The Personal Publication Reader PPR provides a personalized access to publications and allows navigating through publications within an embedded context. The PPR gathers information about publications from distributed, heterogenous sources, extracts machine-readable semantics and enriches them with knowledge about authors, etc. so that rule-based reasoning can be used to provied context-adapted access.
The PPR is based on the Personal Reader Framework and was awarded at the ISWC 2005 within the context of the Semantic Web
